Our Pastor

 

Beau Washburn has been serving as the Pastor of Charity Baptist Church since July of 2019. Before his time at CBC, he served as the Pastor of Students and Missions at First Baptist Church in Gray, GA and as a Pastoral Intern at Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. He obtained his Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017 and he received his Bachelor's of Business Administration from Georgia College in 2011.

 

Beau was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. Before submitting to the call to full time ministry, he worked in the family painting business and as a licensed real estate agent. He married Lacy Ferguson of Baxley, Georgia on June 4, 2011. They have three young children: Parker, Chandler, and Tripp.

 

Beau’s ultimate goal in ministry is to work diligently to further God’s Kingdom. He loves to preach the Gospel and “equip the saints for ministry” in the local church.
